Disappointed! Deceived! Devastated!!!

1/ Hotel would not assist guests to make any local calls, even just for a simple reservation call to the restaurant.

2/ I paid for a room with window, but the window is not a proper window that facing the street, in stead, it was just a small window that facing the alley and right next to an office block, which you would not get any view or direct sunlight from it

3/ I booked for 4 nights, but when I came back to the hotel on the 2nd night, I was shocked to see that my room was not cleaned and tidied up, the hotel just emptied the trash bin and replaced the towels. When I asked the front desk, they told me my room type was some kind of 'Eco plan', so that's why they will only clean once every 3 days! It was unacceptable and ridiculous! Firstly, I was not informed about that when I checked in (front desk staff did not even tell me any info about any hotel amenities or facilities or even check out time, he just gave me the key and that is, I felt line I checked in a cheap hostel!!!). Secondly, when I booked through Trip.com, it did not state that my room was in such plan as well. Thirdly, I totally support anything regarding environmental friendliness and I agree changing bed sheets or towels everyday are unnecessary, however, vacuuming the room and tidying up the room is to maintain hotel hygiene and guest comfort, and which has nothing to do with 'Eco', the hotel could have just re-use the bed sheet and just make the bed for the guest. Fourthly, I was trying to ask the hotel if all the room are in that so called 'Eco plan', the staff told me just some of the rooms are like that, but then I asked if it is my room was booked through a third party (Trip.com) so that's why I received such inferior service, the staff could not give me an answer! All they can do is ask you to pay for 1000yen per day to have a standard room cleaning service!

4/ My toilet door locked was broken and could not be locked, the periodic maintenance of the rooms is obviously lacking!

5/ The room wall is so thin that you could literally listen the entire conversation from your neighbors rooms.

6/ I wrote an email directly to the hotel manager to express my concern, however, no one ever get back to me, and it makes me feel that the hotel is not customer-focused at all, and they don't value customer feedback and feelings.

In general, this hotel offered relatively cheap room rates, yet, there are still a lot more options with similar room rates in the same location, there is absolutely no advantages to book this hotel unless you are looking for an unpleasant hotel staying experience. I am a frequent traveler, I have ample experiences of staying in different hotels around the world ranged from budget to luxury type, however, the service that provided by this hotel and the staff attitude was shocking and devastating. This hotel is way below standard and it surely does make Japanese service industry (a very courteous country with high service standard) a shame to give such negative impression!!!
