「厄除け地蔵尊祭り」が始まりました。

現在、甲府市に強風注意報が出ているとおり

時折、かなり強い風が吹きます。

Tokiwa Hotel was featured on the popular Japanese TV show "NHK Asa-ichi”, In their corner “Navigating Japan". Today's special was on Kofu, Yamanashi Prefecture, an hour and half from Tokyo, surrounded by the Yatsugatake mountains, the South Japan Alps and Mt. Fuji. They covered various attractions: hot springs, the local traditional product, “Inden” (lacquered deer skin), wine made with the wine yeast from the phantom 6th lake of Mt. Fuji, local food, shops, and people. The program focused on our hotel's hot spring and noted that the Japanese garden (nationally ranked #3 in 2013), was loved by major Japanese literary figures such as Seicho Matsumoto and Masuji Ibuse. 今朝、ＮＨＫ「あさイチ」で当館が紹介されました。
短時間でしたが、『庭が美しい“甲府の迎賓館”で、井伏鱒二や松本清張などが宿泊し、小説の執筆をしていた』という内容です。

甲府は“温泉パラダイス”、家の中でも“東西南北”を使うなど面白い切り口で甲府を紹介されてます。

We have established a fully non-smoking floor in the main building.
You will notice that the newly installed tatami mats have the smell of grass, as they are covered with woven soft rush straw produced in Japan.
The view of the Mt. Fuji from the non-smoking floor is also good.
