【気軽に行ける最高峰】
先週の東京都最高峰の雲取山（2,017m）に続いて、今日は神奈川県最高峰の蛭ヶ岳（1,673 m）に登りました。駐車場から雪積のあるトレイルには歩きやすいトレースがついています。往復で20kmほどの距離がある雲取山も蛭ヶ岳も以前なら決意して挑む山でしたが、トレイルレースに出るようになってからは気軽な足慣らしの山です。往復5時間ほどのスノートレッキングは程よい運動量で、とくに下山時のスノーランはいつまでも続けていたい幸せな時間です。

福島と東京を頻繁に行き来するぼくにとって車は、なくてはならない道具であり、同時に趣味の対象です。3年少々で6.8万kmを走ったフィアットパンダの唯一の欠点はデザインの悪さですが美点はたくさんあります。乗り心地に優れ東北自動車道の早い流れに乗ることができ、4WDで雪道に強く、軽油1リットルあたり19km以上走り、マニュアルで運転が楽しくかつ安楽、そしてトラブルとも無縁です。とりわけ気に入っている点はフィアットパンダが最低価格の大衆車だということです。「これで十分」というミニマリズムに通ずる清々しい割り切りが心を豊かにしてくれます。一方で、スポーツカーに見られるような車の著しい高性能化は、車の行き場を失わせると思います。車に限らずぼくらが信奉してきた進歩の概念に対するアンチテーゼが世界を変えようとしています。写真は、ラブラドールの動く犬小屋と化したフィアットの後姿を先日来てくれた親戚が撮ったものです。

今日は南会津町に行きました。新甲子温泉は晴天ですが、わずか30分ほどの甲子峠を越えた南会津町は雪で、同じ標高とは思えない積雪量です。
昨日は1年半ぶりに健康診断に行きました。検査内容は血液検査や心電図など最低限ですが、ぼくにとってはこれで十分です。健康診断をきちんと受けた集団の方が受けなかった集団より死亡率が高いことを示すデータはいくつかの国にあります。医療技術や早期発見信仰が過剰医療や過度な検査により死亡率を上げていることは皮肉です。薬を世界一消費する日本人がこの洗脳から解けるのにはまだ時間が必要かもしれません。

【考え方や行動パターンの近似性】
一昨日雲取山に登ったときに、偶然山中で出会ったトレラン友達のtanさん夫妻から写真をもらいました。絶好の登山日和ながら20人ほどのハイカーにしか会わなかった登山ルートを考えると、考え方や行動パターンが似ていることに驚きます。公園の遊歩道のように歩きやすい雲取山のトレイルは、雪の季節はさらに歩きやすく幸せな気分になれます。

I am surprised at what a way of thinking and a behavior pattern resemble when I think about the mountain climbing route which encountered only the hiker approximately 20 although being ideal day for perfect mountain climbing. The trails of Mount Kumotori which it is easy to walk like the promenade of the park are easy to walk more in a snowy season and can feel happy.
