【飛ぶ鳥を落とすが跡を濁さず】
今日は有力スタートアップ企業の70人の新年合宿が行われました。「飛ぶ鳥を落とす勢い」の企業らしく活力にあふれ、他方でごみはきれいに分別され「飛ぶ鳥跡を濁さず」で、宴会場も客室も使用前の状態に戻されています。朝は一部の方と場所によっては腰の高さほどある雪を掻き分け剣桂神社まで歩きました。美しい雪景色の旭岳の上には月が上がります。
昨夜雪のなかで作った70人分のパエリアはまずまずの出来だったのですが、宿の方はトラブル続きです。温泉の温度は思ったように上がらず、浄化槽の問題なのか一部のトイレの排水ができなくなり、夜中に客室で給水パイプが折れて水が漏れるなど心が休まる暇のない一日でした。一度は救出されたフィアットも再びスタックして動きません。

昨日は朝方の冷え込みと大雪でトラブル続きの一日でした。一部の客室で水道管が凍り水が使えなくなり、降り続いた新雪でさすがのフィアットもスタックして買い物に行けなくなりました。今日はスタートアップ企業の70人の新年合宿が来てくれるのですが、大事なときに限ってトラブル続きなのはいつものことです。

【フィアット以外考えられない雪国生活】
昨日は今シーズン初めて軽トラックで雪かきをしましたが、一晩で20cmほどの積雪が追加され、軽トラックはおろかフィアットを動かすことも至難の業です。まさに雪に閉ざされる季節の始まりです。60cmを超える雪を押し分け駐車場の坂道をフィアットは左右に車体を振りながら登っていきます。まさに軍用車並みの走破力には尊敬しかありません。雪国にいる限りこの車以外に乗るつもりはありません。

FBの友人達が年末年始にかけて超人的距離を走っているのを見ながらほとんど体を動かさないことに罪悪感を覚えつつ、白河鹿嶋神社と宿から歩いて行ける剣桂神社に初詣しました。深いところで60cm以上の積雪がありますので多少の負荷はありますが、とても運動といえるレベルではありません。来るAI時代に人間の脳が勝てるのは、神経伝達物質による能力向上であり、具体的には情熱だと思います。今年は運動と脳内物質やホルモンの増減をテーマに実証的な研究?に取り組みたいと思います。

【新年明けましておめでとうございます】
風の強い新甲子温泉は新春らしい快晴です。紅白ともカウントダウンとも無縁の雪の舞う大晦日は一人静かにコタツで読書をして過ごしました。昨年1年かけて自立して生きていくことの意味や方法が飲み込めてきました。不安や辛いことがあっても、前に進むことがそれを癒してくれます。今年の目標はより多くの人と出会いよりたくさんのトライをすることです。本年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。写真は犬のかぶりものを着けた次女です。
