【経営トップはAIに】
心を痛めている関係者の方には気の毒ですが、「日大劇場」の盛り上がりは留まるところを知りません。組関係者など交友関係の広いトップが表に出ることはありませんが、このケースはガバナンス以前の問題です。17日には日大のホームページから危機管理学部のバナーが削除されるなど、その一挙手一投足が予定調和でネタに事欠きません。唯一の救いはこの国を支配する闇を分かりやすく説明してくれたことです。モリカケ問題も、企業やスポーツ界で止まらない不祥事の数々も根っこは北朝鮮の体制と同じです。外部の目の届かない組織は腐りやすく、とくに役所、学校、それにぼくがいた銀行系など、いわゆるお堅い組織ほど注意が必要でしょう。権力欲にまみれた低俗な人間によって組織が汚染されるのは世の常です。いっそのこと経営トップをAIに任せることが現実的な解決策だと思います（写真は日本工学院八王子キャンパスで本文とは関係がありません）。

【理想はトレイルでの授業】
昨日の収穫は、日本工学院の八王子キャンパス内にトレイルを見つけたことです。1kmほどのコースですが、適度にアップダウンもありトレラン練習になります。原生林に覆われた気持ちのよいトレイルが講義棟の目と鼻の先にあったとは驚きです。一日に2度行く10階の教員室へも階段を使いますが、昼休みにこの道を2度歩きました。大きな雉が横切るトレイルを使い、森のなかを歩きながらの授業は理想的です。

【学生に何を残すことができるのか】
今朝も雨上がりの高尾山に行きました。朝もやに包まれる森を、昨日学生と討議した「スポーツと偏見」というテーマを反芻しながら登っていきます。登りが終わると2.5kmのフラットトレイルが始まり呼吸に集中して瞑想をします。山頂直下から始まる3.5kmの下りは、ウォークマンでテンポのよい曲を聴きながら、脳のパフォーマンスを上げる至福のリトリートセッションです。週に2日の日本工学院での授業は、ぼくの生活によい刺激を与えてくれます。学生に何を残すことができるのかをいつも考えます。ぼくが伝えたいことは人生を主体化することだけです。死の間際に多くの人が、「もっと自分らしく生きれば良かった」と後悔することを最初の授業では話しました。自らの殻を破り自分らしく生きることが幸せの条件だと思います。幸運にもと言うべきですが、ぼくの人生に影響を与えた恩師と言える人は生涯でせいぜい3人です。そんな存在にわずかでも近づこうとすることが、ぼく自身を成長させてくれると思います。
