【ビジネスと商売】
昨日は宿の営業で有力なトレランショップに行きました。自分とは異なる業種の店でもいつも気になるのは商売のことです。コンサルタント時代のぼくはリアリティのないビジネスの世界に生きていたと思います。いまは目の前で現金が行ったり来たりする商売のことばかりを考えます。ぼくの感覚ではビジネスは損得勘定で割り切れる冷徹な取引ですが、商売はより広範な人間関係も含めた温かい取引です。これからの取引は工業化以前の商売の世界に回帰していくような気がします。

Business in the future feels like recurring in the world of the trade before the industrialization.

【本音で話せるプライスレスな時間】
昨日は様々な顔で働く方と会い3時間以上刺激的な時間を過ごしました。その人は複数の企業の経営と複数の大学の教員の顔を持ち、複数のプロジェクトをこなすまさに現代的な働き方をもう何十年も実践しています。会うのは20年ぶりぐらいなのに全く時間の経過を感じさせず当時と印象が変わらないのは幸せな働き方、ではなく生き方をしているからだと思います。
夜は以前の会社の仲間と会いました。ぼくが最後に働いていた会社で、30年のサラリーマン生活で最短の在籍期間ながら、毎日が学園ドラマのような、泣いて笑ってけんかする濃密な時間を過ごした職場です。本音で話せる人と過ごす時間はプライスレスです。
甲子高原はこれから本格的な雪の季節に入りますが、自宅近くの公園では梅がほころび、衣料品店には春物が並びます。
【Priceless time to be able to talk about for the true intention】

【宿を通して編集すべき自然】
昨日は山梨県にあるリゾートホテルに伺いました。バブル期に建てられしばらく放置されていた宿泊施設を改装しています。リノベーションされた施設を見ると、同業者としては改装コストやメンテナンスのことばかりに目が行きます。
うちと同じ800m強の標高からは、生憎の雨天ながら美しい雲海を望むことができます。宿を通して街の日常を編集する「まち宿」と同様に、豊かな自然に囲まれるリゾートホテルでフォーカスすべきは、宿を通して編集すべき自然の切り取り方だと思います。午後のひとときコーヒーを飲みながら窓の外に広がる雲海を眺めていると、今という時間の大切さを感じることができます。

昨日は開業以来大変お世話になっている方の自宅に呼んでいただき宿の経営に関して有益な助言を受け、夜はリノベーションした「まち宿」のセミナーに行きました。住みにくい東京を離れたい思いはあるものの、先端の情報を得られることは依然東京にいる最大のメリットです。
写真は豊島区の椎名町で、空き家だった築50年のとんかつ店「とんかつ一平」を「宿」と「ミシンカフェ」にリノベーションした事例の紹介です。宿を通して街の日常を編集して特別な体験に変えた複数の事例からは、ステレオタイプの非日常ではなく偉大なる日常が価値を持つ現代消費の一面を垣間見ることができました。70人の枠に収まらず100人に増やしても満席というセミナー会場の熱気は時代が動き始めたことを感じさせます。
【Grand daily life】

【ささやかな達成感】
週末のロードレースの余韻が今も筋肉痛として残っています。レースに出る素晴らしさは決意して達成する成功体験だと思います。重要なのはゴールセッティングです。たかだか21kmであってもゴールまで行くと決意することで、スタートラインに並ぶとアドレナリンがでます。途中のプロセスが辛くてもゴールをしたときのささやかな達成感が思い出を美化し、そのポジティブな感情はしばらく続きます。
写真は自宅近くの欅の大木です。長年住んでいるのに自然を愛でる余裕がなかったのか間近で見たのは初めてです。
【Small sense of accomplishment】
The lingering sound of the road race of the weekend is still left as a muscular pain. I think that it is a success experience to decide the splendor to be reflected on a race, and to be accomplished. It is goal setting to be important. Adrenalin appears when I line up to the starting line by deciding it when I go until a goal even if it is Takada or 21km. Even if a process on the way is hard, small sense of accomplishment when they made a goal idealizes a memory, and the positive feelings continue for a while.
The photograph is a big tree of the zelkovas close to the homes. I try what I watched close whether you were not able to afford to enjoy nature to have been living for many years for the first time.
