【美しい森の癒し】
今日の新甲子温泉は夕方になり急に冷え込み紅葉が進んでいます。朝阿武隈源流を歩くと木々の葉が散り、新緑の季節とは逆に森が日々明るくなります。冬は阿武隈源流が神々しい静けさと白一色に包まれる魅惑の季節です。
昨年12月からこの森で暮らし始めて、あれほど厳しい天候の冬だったのに、気分が落ち込むことがなかったのは、毎朝この美しい森に心を向けて、生きている感覚を味わえたからだと思います。
【Healing of a beautiful forest】
Colored leaves keep today's Shinkashi Onsen being the evening, and being chilled suddenly. A leaf of trees is scattered when I walk the Abukuma source in the morning, and a forest becomes bright every day adversely with the season of the fresh green. It is a season of fascination given stillness that the Abukuma source is divine and white one color in winter.
I begin to live in this forest from last December, and it turns a heart to this beautiful forest every morning that a feeling was not depressed in winter of such severe weather and thinks that this is because it was able to taste a living sense.

【白河の明治神宮?】
今朝はラブラドールと赤面山に登りました。普段なら往復に3時間はかからないのですが、今日は体調が今一歩らしく3時間半かかりました。葉が散った登山道からは那須連山の稜線が眺められるようになりました。落ち葉が積もり歩きやすくなった登山道は、晩秋から初冬に向かう静かな山歩きの風情で心が安らぎます。
一昨日戊辰戦争の話を聞いてから、西郷や白河の旧跡を改めて訪ねてみたいと思うようになりました。昨日は買い物ついでに白河鹿嶋神社に行きました。本殿西側には樹齢1,000年と云わるご神木である杉の巨樹があります。その背後のご神体山(甕の森)には、古代からの祭祀が行われ聖地といわれる巨岩（磐座いわくら)があります。白河の市街からわずか1kmほどのところにこれほどの巨樹とパワースポットとされる神秘的な森が広がることは驚きです。その感覚は都心のなかにある明治神宮の森とどこか似ています。
【Meiji Shrine of Shirakawa? 】
I climbed Labrador and Akazura mountain this morning. Coming and going did not usually take three hours, but physical condition seemed to be just one step and suffered for three and a half hours today. I came to be able to look at the ridgeline of Nasu Mountains from the mountain trail where a leaf was scattered to. In the mountain trail that dead leaves are piled up and became easy to walk, a heart feels at ease with taste of quiet hiking to go in early winter from late fall.
I came to want to visit the historic site of Nishigo and Shirakawa some other time after I heard a story of the Boshin War the day before yesterday. I went to Shirakawa Kashima Shrine in a shopping occasion yesterday. There is the giant tree of the cedar which is 1,000 years years old and a sacred tree divided by in the main shrine west. There is a huge rock (Iwakura) which the religious service from the ancient times is carried out in the object of worship mountains of rear, and is said to be a sacred place. I am amazed to learn that such a giant tree and a mysterious forest assumed a power spot open to only approximately 1km from the city of Shirakawa. The sense resembles a forest of a certain Meiji Shrine slightly in the downtown area.

【戦後は終わらない】
今朝の新甲子温泉は肌寒いのですが、半袖でも快適に過ごせます。ラブラドールと散歩に行くと、宿より標高が低い剣桂神社の森に入ると明らかに気温が低下するのがわかります。まだ目覚める前の森の空気を深く吸い込むと、身体の自律神経のバランスが整っていくように感じます。
昨夜は白河駅に近い古民家を改装したコミュニティ・カフェEMANONで戊辰戦争の話を聞きました。来年が戊辰戦争150年の節目にあたり全国的に戊辰戦争への関心が高まっていますが、戊辰戦争の勝敗を決した戦場だった地元白河ではなおさらのことです。
ぼく自身にとっても白河・会津が行動範囲になってから、戊辰戦争はより身近なものになりました。ここでの戦後とは太平洋戦争ではなく、戊辰戦争を示すのだと感じます。150年の歳月は戦争の傷跡を癒すには短すぎることを知りました。
実りの季節を迎えた自分の暮らす村が、会津街道（羽鳥街道）で会津を目指す板垣退助率いる西軍と、剣豪森要蔵が激戦をまみえた地であることを知り感慨にふける夜でした。
【Not over after the war】
Shinkashi Onsen this morning is chilly, but can spend even short sleeves comfortably. I feel that temperature decreases clearly when altitude enters the forest of low sword Katsura Shinto shrine from a hotel when I go for Labrador and a walk. I feel it when I breathe in the air of the forest before still waking deeply so that the balance of the physical autonomic nerve is regulated well.
I heard a story of the Boshin War last night in community cafe EMANON which redecorated the old private house which was near to Shirakawa Station. The next year is the turning point of Boshin War 150 years and interest in Boshin War increases nationwide, but is with a saw all the more in hometown Shirakawa that was the battlefield that determined victory or defeat of the Boshin War.
The Boshin War became more imminent after Shirakawa, Aizu became the field of activities for myself. I feel that I show Boshin War after a war here not the Pacific War. I knew that it was too short to appease a scar of the war in time of 150 years.
It was the night when I knew that it was the ground where I had an interview with, and the west forces and the great swordsman Youzou Mori storehouse which led Taisuke Itagaki that the village where oneself who greeted the season of the crop lived in aimed at Aizu in Aizu highway (Hatori highway) could blow on a fierce battle in deep emotion.

【有料ごみの効果】
今朝の新甲子温泉は暖かい気温ですが、雨が降っています。昨夜の冷え込みで紅葉が進み温泉から眺める森の木々は朝と夕で表情を変えます。朝から焚き火をしました。火が恋しい気温ではないのですが、コタツ3台の包装材を燃やしました。東京と違いごみ袋が有料の西郷村ではごみの削減はコスト削減に直結します。安くないごみ袋からはみ出したごみは回収してもらえません。
アルミ缶・スチール缶、ペットボトル、ダンボールは地区で毎月行われるリサイクル品回収に、食品トレーはスーパーのリサイクルボックスへ、ビン類は自治体の資源回収に、粗大ごみは西白河地方クリーンセンターへ軽トラックで運び、東京に帰るときは東京の自宅へ運び、あとはパエリアの焚き火で燃やして、それでも残ったものを日々のゴミ分別回収に出しています。何でも無料で捨てられる東京は便利なのですが、他方でリサイクル意識は高まらないと思います。今年1月の地区のリサイクル品回収のときの写真です。
【Effect of the paid garbage】
Shinkashi Onsen this morning is warm temperature, but it rains. The trees of the forest that autumn colors advance including cold last night and look at from the hot spring change an expression in morning and an evening. I built a fire from morning. Fire was not the temperature that I yearned for, but burnt the casing of three kotatsus. The reduction of the garbage is connected directly with a cost cut in Nishigo-mura where a garbage bag is charged unlike Tokyo. I do not have you collect the garbage which protruded from the garbage bag which is not cheap.
To the recycling box of the supermarket, bottles carry the large-size refuse to the Nishishirakawa district clean center by light truck for the resource recovery of the local government, and canned canned aluminum, steel, a plastic bottle, the corrugated cardboard carry the food tray to the home of Tokyo for recycling article collection performed every month in a district when I return to Tokyo and burn it by an open-air fire of the paella afterward and start the thing which still stayed for daily garbage classification collection. Tokyo where anything is thrown away free is convenient, but thinks that the recycling consciousness does not increase in the other. 【自然のなかでの仕事こそが最高】
昨日は冬の書斎となるコタツを3台買いました。コタツは１時間数円の電気代で省エネな上に懐かしく心も温かくなります。しかし今朝の新甲子温泉は半袖でも寒くない気候です。ラブラドールと2kmの源流の遊歩道を歩くと、帰る頃には心も体も仕事に向かう準備ができます。剣桂神社で手を合わせて心を鎮め、冷気を感じる源流沿いの遊歩道で新鮮な空気を全身に送り、トレイルに積もった落ち葉の柔らかい感覚が心をほぐし、最後に標高差80mの渓谷を一気に登ると体中の血流が促され体調が整います。
最高の体と心で仕事にのぞむことが仕事の生産性を高め、自律神経バランスが整う午前10時頃に向けて集中的に仕事ができます。こちらでは朝が早く大工さんはいつも6時前には来ていましたし、今朝の電力会社による木々の伐採作業は7時前から始まります。企業と話していても朝一番の打ち合わせは8時頃を意味します。遅くとも8時には仕事を始めて午前中に最高のパフォーマンスを引き出すことが仕事の質を高めますので、夜の娯楽がない自然のなかでの仕事こそが最高の環境だと思います。

I bought three Kotatsu which became the winter study yesterday. The Kotatsu is energy saving for an electricity bill of several yen for one hour, and the heart becomes warm with nostalgia, too. However, Shinkashi Onsen this morning is the climate that is not cold with the short sleeves either. Both the heart and the body are ready to go to the work when they walk Labrador and the promenade of the source of 2km when they return. I put hands together in sword Katsura Shrine and quiet a heart and send the air which is fresh on a promenade along the source feeling a chill to a whole body, and the soft sense of dead leaves piled up to a trail unties a heart, and the bloodstream of the whole body is promoted when I climb the ravine of altitude difference 80m at a stretch last, and physical condition is set.
It raises productivity of the work to expect from work for the best body and heart and can work intensively for about 10:00 a.m. when autonomic nerve balance is set. Morning is early, and the carpenter always came here before 6:00, and the felling work of the trees by the electric power company this morning begins for 7:00. The first thing in the morning meeting means about 8:00 even if I talk with a company. Because it raises quality of the work I begin work at 8:00 at the latest, and to draw the best performance in the morning, night entertainment thinks that work in nature which there is not is the best environment.
