【互いに教えあう学び】
日本工学院の1、2年生向けの多人数の授業が一方的になるのに対して、少人数の3年生の授業は双方向型で刺激的です。ビジネスの上では付き合うことが少ない20歳前後の感覚を知ることができる場は気づきと発見があり貴重です。日々その兆候を目にしているにも関わらず、人は目の前で起こっている変化に気づきません。文明評論家のジェレミー・リフキン（Jeremy Rifkin）が提唱する第三次産業革命が進むと、知識や学びの形は大きく変わると思います。知的財産権やノウハウの秘匿により価値を生み出す垂直統合の時代は終わり、世界中の知をオープンソースとしてシェアする時代になり、学びのあり方も変わります。教員が知識を所有し一方的に伝える時代から、ともに学び互いに教えあう学びの時代になると思います。

【別の生き方を模索できる日本】
今朝は阿蘇に来ました。朝もやの外輪山の壮大な山並みに囲まれる高原の朝は、連日の都会の猛暑とは別世界です。露天風呂から目の前に広がる美しい田園風景を眺めながら、もはや人が住むことができなくなった都市の異常を思います。明け方の空を飛び交うつばめを見ていると豊かさの概念が揺らぎます。人類の活動が、地球の生態系にとって取り返しがつかない惑星限界（Planetary Boundaries）を迎えたとされる今、野放しにされてきた個人のエゴと浪費を手放す以外に、持続可能性を見つけることはできないと思います。幸いにも日本の人口は減少しており、1950年代以降の世界的トレンドである経済成長とは別の生き方を模索できる状況にあります。

【自動車中心の交通インフラ】
この週末は兵庫県尼崎と京都の親戚の家に行くために1,000km走りました。京都では9日連続の38度超えという猛暑のなかエアコンを常時使い、帰りの東名高速は事故で御殿場から渋滞する国道246号線を走ったために、フィアットの燃費は19.1km/Lと平凡ですが、関西を往復してもディーゼルの燃料代は6千円ほどです。足の不自由な母との移動に公共交通は負担が大きく、車の方が経済的な上に、SAなどのバリアフリーも整備され便利です。高齢社会の日本は列車中心の公共交通ではなく、自動運転を主軸とした自動車を中心にすべきなのかもしれません。

昨日は村野藤吾最後の建築となった宝ヶ池プリンスホテル（グランドプリンスホテル京都）に泊まりました。企業の都合で、勝手に名前を変えないで欲しいと思います。同じ村野藤吾設計の箱根プリンスホテル（ザ・プリンス箱根）も好きなホテルで、弧を描く独特の建築は落ち着きます。非効率な丸い建物にいると、人類が豊かになるためにやってきたことは実は全て逆だったのではないかと思います。快適な空間を追求し、夜を明るくし、豪華な食事や華やかな生活など、浪費のために欲望を煽ってきました。経済的発展が幸福と相関しないことはもはや常識です。マーケティングの一環で捏造された幸福の形から、消費者の洗脳が解けるのに時間はかからないと思います。

I stayed at Takaragaike Prince Hotel (Grand Prince Hotel Kyoto) which became the building of the Togo Murano last yesterday. On account of the company, I think that I do not change the name without permission. Hakone Prince Hotel (the prince Hakone) of the same Togo Murano design is a favorite hotel, and the unique construction to picture an arc in calms down. I think that, in fact, it might be all reverse to have come over because the human becomes rich when in the round building which is non-efficiency. I pursued comfortable space and lighted night and fanned greed for waste including a luxurious meal and gorgeous life. It is already common sense that economical development does not relate to happiness. I think that I do not suffer at time to be relieved of the brainwashing of consumers from form of happiness forged at a part of the marketing.

【厚顔なおもてなし】
親戚を訪ねて今朝は酷暑の京都に来ました。街なかで見かける欧米人観光客には気の毒な耐え難い暑さです。ホテルの和食の店に入ると、欧米人カップルが「写真のメニューが見たい」と話していて店にその用意がないためにコーラだけ飲んで帰ってしまいました。日本人でも京都に来れば和食を食べたい気分なのに、インバウンドの集まる京都にしてこの対応は不親切だと思います。インバウンドが最初に目にする成田空港の列車案内でさえ、日本人から見ても不親切なのに、恥かしげも無く「おもてなし」と言ってしまう日本人は、いつから厚顔になったのでしょうか。
【Impudent OMOTENASHI】
I visited a relative and came to Kyoto of the intense heat this morning. Town なかで is poor unbearable heat for Westerners tourist to see. I told, Westerners couple "wanted to see the menu of the photograph" and drank only cola because a shop did not have the preparation and have returned when I entered the shop of the Japanese food of the hotel. Though it is a feeling to want to eat Japanese food if even a Japanese comes to Kyoto, I do it in Kyoto where in bounds gather, and this correspondence thinks that it is unkind. Though even a train guide of Narita Airport which an in bound saw first was unkind according to a Japanese, leaning it to one side did not have shame either, and how long would "OMOTENASHI" and the Japanese who said become impudent?
